# Configure the Verify client

Configure OrbitRail Verify with an API key, batch size, and clock-tolerance options.

Pass `batchSize` when you need to tune how many verification items the client
groups at once:

```ts
const verifier = createVerifyClient({
  apiKey: process.env.ORBITRAIL_API_KEY!,
  batchSize: 50,
});
```

`batchSize` defaults to **50** and accepts integers from 1 through 500. Values
outside that range throw a `RangeError` during client creation.

## Clock tolerance

`clockToleranceSeconds` controls how far a signed timestamp may drift from the
server clock before the payload is rejected:

```ts
const verifier = createVerifyClient({
  apiKey: process.env.ORBITRAIL_API_KEY!,
  clockToleranceSeconds: 120,
});
```

`clockToleranceSeconds` defaults to **60** and accepts integer values from 0 to
300. Values outside that range throw a `RangeError` during client creation.
